Welcome to the Mike Gunby archive
of historical black and white photos. The collection was started in 1970 to preserve
our photographic heritage; windows into the past. Once our fragile photographic heritage
is destroyed, it is gone forever, never recoverable. We are working to preserve all
historical photographs for future generations.
Through the magic of photography,
we now offer you an opportunity to revisit the 1900's, 1910's, 1920's, 1930's, and 1940's.
If you are a writer, we can provide photos or ideas on any historical subject you can
imagine.
The first step is to E-mail or write to me, stating your area of interest.
The archive is computerized. A computer listing,
which describes the photos, as pertains to your area of interest, will be sent to you.
Also, inexpensive paper copies of the photo will be provided to you for your further
research and selection. There are more than 4,000 historically significant photos in
the archive, with more being added daily.
We've categorized by subject, and put together an early aviation CD. It's offered for $99.00 and includes 50 photos.
That's only $2.00 apiece for an antique, historical, photo of early aviation,
for years of enjoyment and use. It makes a great gift.
